The event takes place at The Edge, Riveredge, Wigan, WN3 5AB.

What Three Words Location

We strongly recommend that you come to the venue by public transport.

Located in the heart of the North West, Wigan boasts fantastic transport links:

  • Rail: Wigan North Western and Wigan Wallgate stations provide direct connections to Manchester, Liverpool, London, and beyond.
  • Road: Situated near the M6 and M61 motorways, it’s easily accessible by car.
  • Air: Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon Airports are within an hour’s drive.

You'll usually find 75 trains per day running between Manchester Airport and Wigan, which usually take 50 minutes to complete the 19 miles (31 km) journey. It can take as little as 44 minutes on the fastest services.

We strongly recommend that you come to the venue by public transport. There is limited paid parking on site but we cannot guarantee availability or reserve any parking spaces.  Please use public transport, car share or leave your car at your hotel if at all possible.

Parking charges are operated by a private operator (not the venue) and parking is payable for everyone attending the event, including disabled blue badge holders. ANPR is in operation so please pay for your parking and do not get a ticket.

How to Pay for parking:

Download the PayByPhone or Q-Park app in advance. Use Location Code 811575 to complete payment quickly upon arrival.

Drop-Offs: A free 20-minute grace period is available on-site, strictly for passenger drop-offs and pick-ups.

Alternative Local Parking: If the main car park is full, nearby public car parks include Melverley Street, Pennyhurst, Trencherfield Mill, and Haig Street

All tickets for StationeryFest 2026 are sold out. This includes general admission shopping tickets, social lounge tickets and VIP PlannerFest and JournalFest tickets.

Please do not arrive at the venue without a valid ticket for all members of your party to avoid disappointment and a wasted journey. The demand for the event has been huge and there will be no further tickets issued, and the event is at full capacity.

No. All tickets for StationeryFest 2026 are sold out. This includes general admission shopping tickets, social lounge tickets and VIP PlannerFest and JournalFest tickets. The venue capacity is strictly capped. At this stage, we cannot issue or sell extra tickets for friends, family, children, carers or additional guests under any circumstances.

Please do not arrive at the venue without a valid ticket for all members of your party to avoid disappointment and a wasted journey. The demand for the event has been huge and unfortunately there will be no further tickets issued.

Your specific entry time slot is clearly printed in the grey section at the top of your e-ticket and is likely to be different to the door opening times for the event. Entry on Saturday is managed strictly by time slots. There is no on-site waiting area for early arrivers so please check your ticket details carefully. Anyone arriving prior to their allocated entry slot will be asked to leave the site and return at the correct time for admission to help us manage the queues effectively.

You are welcome to arrive later than the specified time slot if you wish. If you do not wish to queue for long, we advise not arriving on the hour but arriving slightly later. It will be extremely busy for the 10am entry, if you are able to attend later in the day it will be quieter.

If you have booked a concessionary ticket and it doesn't have a specified entry time stated, you are welcome to arrive at the same time as the rest of your party.

If you are attending alone and have a concessionary ticket you can choose your arrival time. We would however highly recommend not arriving on the hour, e.g.  at the peak 10am entry point to avoid queuing for too long.

Your specific entry time slot is clearly printed in the grey section at the top of your e-ticket and so ensure that you do not arrive on site before this time. Have your ticket ready for scanning and your bags ready for checking. Please join the relevant queue - either StationeryFest general admission, or the Social Lounge or VIP fast track lanes, according to your ticket type.

If you have booked a special ticket, such as a student concessionary ticket, you will also need to show valid photo Student ID, clearly dated to show it is still valid.

If you have pre-booked a carers ticket to accompany an attendee with a paid ticket, proof of carer status is required.
The following documents are accepted (dated within the last 12 months):

  • Attendance Allowance Letter (AA)
  • Carers’ Allowance Letter of Award
  • Disability Living Allowance Letter (DLA)
  • Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
  • Armed Forces Independence Payments (AFIP)
  • Valid Blue Badge
    The Nimbus Access card

Failure to arrive and attend with the paid ticket holder and proof of carer status will invalidate the ticket.

Unfortunately, at this late stage, it is not possible to add any additional tickets or passes as the event is now full to capacity.

There will be bag checks on entry, so please be ready and assist the security staff with your bags open for checking. We appreciate that you are here to shop so there is no limit to bag size, however, we discourage suitcases and wheeled bags. No dangerous items, such as sharp items, weapons, aerosols, etc are allowed.

Food and drink are permitted, please keep hydrated.

No, there are no cloakroom or storage facilities for coats, luggage, or bags at the venue. Similar to if you were going to the Trafford Centre or similar shopping centre to shop, you need to be able to look after your own belongings and bags whilst you shop.

VIPs are the only exception to this as they do have luggage storage available within the VIP areas.

The venue is accessible. There are two access routes into the Auditorium, one route (from the Avenue) has steps but the route from the entrance at the side of the registration desk gives ramped access into the auditorium. The rest of the venue is one one level, there are no lifts. There is an accessible toilet.

There are some steps outside Postcode Coffee House, outside the venue but there is an alternative ramped access into the venue.

Unfortunately there are no mobility scooters or wheelchairs available to hire at the venue.

Service dogs are welcome.

As per the terms and conditions of your booking, no refunds are possible. If you took out the refund protection cover at the time of booking you should contact XCover directly to request a refund.  We do not operate the refund protection insurance, XCover is an independent provider and we cannot help with this.

Please be extremely cautious. Due to the show being completely sold out, we have seen a significant increase in online scam accounts claiming to sell non-existent tickets and if you arrive with a fake or pre-scanned ticket it will not allow entry to the event.

If you choose to buy a ticket privately from an attendee, you do so entirely at your own risk. We strongly advise against buying tickets from unknown profiles or unverified commenters on social media.

Unfortunately this is not possible at this late stage. StationeryFest is run by an extremely small team who are currently on-site working flat out to set up and deliver the event at The Edge.

We do not have the administrative capacity or resources to manually verify, authenticate, or check individual ticket sales via email or social media and ticket sales are not permitted via the Facebook group as we cannot verify their authenticity.

Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable directly through the organisers.

If you bought a ticket but can no longer attend, you are permitted to pass or sell your ticket on privately. However, you must handle the arrangement yourself. At this stage, the organisers cannot facilitate, manage, or transfer tickets on your behalf.

If you selected the optional third-party ticket refund protection (via XCover / TicketSource) when booking your original ticket, you must submit your refund claim directly to them with your supporting documentation. Refund claims cannot be processed by the event team.

We are receiving a huge volume of emails and messages and our small event team is currently involved in final event prep and on-site building the venue floor to make the show amazing for everyone! Event setup takes full priority in these final days, non-essential administrative email - including private ticket resale or transfer enquiries - cannot be answered. We hope that all key answers can be found on your ticket, here in these FAQs and also supported by information on social media. Thank you for your understanding.

If you prefer a quieter shopping experience and wish to avoid the peak Saturday morning crowds, we strongly recommend planning your visit for after 2:00 PM, when the main floor tends to be less busy.  There is no problem arriving after your event arrival time slot to avoid the busy morning period.

StationeryFest is a vibrant, standing shopping event designed for browsing stalls, exploring vendors, and taking part in interactive activities such as the stamp rally and friendship bracelet swaps. As a result, seating across the show floor is limited and dedicated seating cannot be guaranteed for general admission ticket holders. The event will become quieter later on the Saturday though, so this would be a good time to attend if you wish to avoid the crowds and have a more leisurely visit.
